There is a huge, huge difference between when people like my family mixes their native language and English together in a sentence, and you peppering random Asian words (e.g. Korean and Japanese that you learned from anime or Kpop) into your English sentence. What my family does is called code-switching (common among bilingual or multilingual speakers), but what you’re doing is accessorizing and appropriating. So don’t give me that “if Asians can mix their language and English together in a sentence, I can, too!” No.
